About "At the Centre"
The posters project is part of an initiative by Toronto Neighbourhood Centres, a network
of 30 multi-service agencies located on communities across Toronto. The “At the
Centre” initiative uses the power of art and storytelling to illustrate the importance of
the work neighbourhood centres do. Agency staff and volunteers received training and
support to deliver poster-making workshops in their agencies. Over 200 poster images,
suitable for live events, online applications and paper-based use and other applications
have been produced.
If you are one of the agencies with art work and you'd like to help spread the "At the Centre" project with your own site, visit your member page (find yourself in the Member Agencies listing) and you'll see a rotating block of art from your agency and a small piece of html that you can include on any of your own site's web pages to have a similar block.
